This little book is a superb introduction to Marx's life and thought. Excellent for those who have not yet had time to delve more deeply into Marx's writings. Written by the Marxist humanist Ernst Fischer, who also wrote The Necessity of Art. It's a little paperback Pelican of 183 pages.
